What puncture protection does this tire offer?
The ROADPROTECT+ mountain bike tire features 2 successive protections:
1. The first protection is a 3mm high-density rubber band located under the tread.
2. The second protection is a polyamide strip located under the first protection.
This combination of rubber and polyamide protections offers an excellent level of resistance.
We tested it in the laboratory. It scores 5/5.
How do you measure a tire's resistance to punctures?
We measure the tire's puncture resistance in the laboratory. The perforating elements are calibrated to represent the thorns, broken glass, etc. that you are likely to encounter on the road. Depending on its resistance, each tire obtains a score from 1 to 5/5.
The most reinforced tires on the market obtain a score of 5/5.
How do I change my tire?
To change your tire yourself, we suggest you follow this tutorial:

Tire changing is a service offered by our workshops Decathlon. Contact your nearest store for more information.
How to properly inflate a tire?
Inflate your tire with care. The minimum pressure for this tire is 2 bar, the maximum 5 bar. These values are indicated on the tire sidewall. We recommend using a pump equipped with a pressure gauge.
We recommend checking the pressure once a month.
