How to measure tire wear?

To measure the wear of your tires and know when they need changing, you need to look at the condition of the tread.
As it's in direct contact with the terrain you're riding on, the tread determines the tire's efficiency.
A tire is worn out and needs changing when the studs on the tread are filed down to the level of the side studs.

How do I dismount a tire?

To remove the tire, deflate the tube until no more air comes out.
You can then remove the tire from the rim using a tire lever.

How do I remount a tire?

Please check that the arrow on the tire sidewall points in the direction of travel.
To remount a tire, place a bead wire (the rigid part that determines the shape of your tire) on the rim.
Once this is done, inflate your inner tube to around 30% before installing it in the rim (pre-inflation reduces the risk of pinching the tube).
Then install the second bead wire in the rim, starting opposite the valve.

How to properly inflate a tire?

Inflate your tire with care.
The recommended pressure is indicated on the tire's sidewall.
Also make sure your tire pressure is correct before each outing.
An under-inflated tire offers poorer pedaling performance.

Pro tip:

When inflating your tire, be sure to set the correct pressure for the terrain and weather conditions.
For driving in wet weather, lower the tire pressure to increase grip.
Conversely, for driving in dry weather, increase the tire pressure.
Remember to stay within the limits indicated on the tire sidewall.
