The choice of metals for our cookware: a decisive choice :
We chose 18/8 stainless steel (304) because it combines food safety with long-term resistance: it doesn't oxidize and prevents corrosion. And as stainless steel is slightly less conductive than aluminum, we've integrated a double aluminum bottom under the pan. This provides greater heat diffusion and heating efficiency, reducing the amount of gas needed for cooking.
Our tips for getting the most out of your stove:
This frying pan is compatible with all types of fires (wood, gas, induction...).
It has a retractable handle that locks (unlocks) by pushing (pulling) the metal piece positioned in its center.
Caution when using on campfires, the handle of the frying pan can heat up under the effect of the flames.
How to clean and maintain your stove
Before first use, rinse 3 times with clean water.
After use, wash with soapy water and dry before storing in a dry place.
This frying pan is dishwasher-safe and can also withstand abrasive sponges and river sand!
Are there any things you should avoid doing with your stove?
To avoid damaging them, never heat your pots and pans when empty.
In the case of a wood fire, make sure that the flames do not come into direct contact with the handle, as this could become hot.
Finally, make sure you always lock the pan handle when using it.
