Maintenance

We recommend the use of a water-repellent (spray or liquid) to regenerate the fabric's water repellency and optimize the performance of your garment throughout its lifetime.

Garment waterproofing

This garment has been validated in a shower test under 12 cm of rain in 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a mountain shower.

Poncho breathability

Our poncho and raincoat ranges do not feature breathable waterproof membranes. We therefore recommend this product for gentle, leisurely use, rather than for a quick hike to limit perspiration!

Component water repellency

The water repellency of a fabric is its ability to let water slide over its surface, without absorbing it.
This means that the textile does not become waterlogged and remains light, breathable and warm.
Water repellency is obtained by a treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric.
This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the life of your garment (we recommend every 3 washes).
All ponchos and capes have a water-repellent treatment.
