TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Cook what you want, where you want! We present the contents of the MH100 4-person popote:

1 graduated saucepan with 1 patented folding handle + 1 small folding handle for 2-handed carrying (2.6 L useful, 3.1 L total, 575 g, Ø 22.5 cm x 12.5 cm)
4 dinner plates ( 0.5 liter, 69 g each)
4 sets of 3 clip-on cutlery sets (fork, spoon, knife) (21 g each)
1 lid / strainer (90 g)

The choice of metals for our cooking pots: a decisive choice :

We chose 18/8 stainless steel (304) because it combines food safety with long-term resistance. It does not oxidize and prevents corrosion. It's very resistant and can be used with all types of utensils (including metal ones). And as stainless steel is a little less conductive than aluminum, we've integrated a double aluminum bottom underneath this product. This provides greater heat diffusion and heating efficiency, and reduces gas consumption.

How did we choose the coverings for our cooking pots?

On the MH100 range, we've chosen not to use a non-stick coating, so as to keep the product simple and resistant to all conditions of use and washing. So there's no need to worry about how to transport it or wash it without damaging it!

And now, we'll tell you all about the plastics in our kitchen!

We have chosen polyamide (cutlery and handle), polypropylene (plates) and Tritan (lid) because they are lightweight and highly resistant to heat (even at 100°C), impact and deformation.
All our food-contact plastics are Bisphenol-A (BPA)-free, in accordance with current French regulations.
However, do not place plastic parts in direct contact with a flame, as they may melt.

Our tips for getting the most out of your popote:

Our pans are compatible with all types of fires (wood, gas, induction...).
The pan has a patented 2-part folding handle that locks the lid during transport, and a second small handle for carrying it with 2 hands.
The lid adapts to the pan, allowing food to be heated more quickly, and also serves as a strainer.
The flat plates have a structured design on the underside to limit heat transfer, and a hole for easy hanging.

How to store your kitchen utensils

The elements are stored inside the popote. First the 4 flat plates, then the cutlery, which can be clipped together. The lid is then fitted and secured by the folding handle.
Plates and cutlery are also available individually.

How to clean and maintain your stove

Before using for the first time, rinse all components 3 times with clean water.
All components are dishwasher-safe, and can be washed with soapy water or river water and sand during outdoor use!

Are there any things you should avoid doing when cooking?

Never heat your pans when empty, as this will deform and damage them.
When using over a wood fire, ensure that the flames do not come into direct contact with the plastic parts.
Close your handle properly before using the potholder over the fire.

Materials and regulations

All our products and materials comply with current standards, and materials in contact with food do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in accordance with current French regulations.

Here are a few examples of mailn design in use:

The saucepan is graduated to help you measure volumes and quantities.
The plates have a handle so you can hang them up to dry more quickly
And last but not least, there's a handle that closes the popote for transport.

Our design team tells the story of the MH100 cooker:

From the outset, we wanted to offer you a product that would allow you to take everything you need to eat and cook outdoors, while remaining clean and practical in use.
What happened next? A lot of people involved at every stage of the design process, 3D models, tests with enthusiasts and neophytes, a lot of emotions, and in the end a product we're proud of: a "turnkey" popote that's easy to transport and use, so you can cook with peace of mind outdoors.

A few words of gastronomy from our design team:

"Along with hiking, one of our passions is cooking. Even outdoors, you can cook lots of dishes other than pasta. And why not pick your own produce while hiking? In the end, it's easy to cook, and that's what we wanted to achieve with this popote: we wanted to make life easier for hikers. Food doesn't have the same flavor when you eat outside. You appreciate food differently.
