What's included in the popote?

1 graduated saucepan with 1 patented folding handle. (1.3 L useful, 240 g, Ø 12.5 x 14 cm)
2 bowls with structure to limit heat diffusion (0.45 L useful, 13 x 6.5 cm, 46 g each)
2 folding cutlery spoon / fork (11 g each, length 18.5 cm)
1 lid / strainer (35 g)
1 carrying bag (16 g)

How did we choose our meals-on-wheels?

We chose 18/8 stainless steel (304) because it combines food safety with long-term resistance. It does not oxidize and prevents corrosion. It is highly resistant and can be used with all types of utensils (including metal).

How did we choose the coverings for our cooking pots?

On the TREK500 range, we've chosen not to use a non-stick coating, so as to keep the product simple and resistant to all conditions of use and washing. No need to worry about how to transport or wash it without damaging it!

How did we choose the plastics for our cooking pots?

Polyamide (cutlery), polypropylene (plate, handle) and tritan (lid) have been chosen because they are lightweight and highly resistant to heat (minimum 100°C), impact and deformation.
Caution: do not place plastic parts in direct contact with flames.

How to get the most out of your popote?

Our pans are compatible with all types of burners (wood, gas, induction...).
The pan has a patented 2-part folding handle that locks the lid during transport.
The lid adapts to the pan, allowing food to be heated more quickly and also serves as a strainer.
The bowl has a structured design to limit heat transfer and can accommodate a gas cartridge (230g screw-in cartridge type) for transport.
The cutlery folds for easy storage.

How to store your kitchen utensils?

The elements are stored inside the pot. First the bowl, then the cutlery. The lid is then fitted and secured by the folding handle.
The bowl and cutlery are also available individually.

How to clean and maintain your stove?

Before using for the first time, rinse all components 3 times with clean water.
All components are dishwasher-safe, and can be washed with soapy water or river water and sand during outdoor use!

What should you avoid doing with your cooking pot?

Never heat your pans when empty, as this will deform and damage them.
When using over a wood fire, make sure that the flames do not come into direct contact with the plastic parts.
Close your handle properly before using the potholder over the fire.
In all cases, avoid letting the flames rise too high and lick the lid, as this could cause it to melt.
