What is a positive stick?
The Positive Stick is the first dressage stick to include the possibility of rewarding your horse. Its star-shaped handle reproduces the natural behavior of horses when they scratch each other, creating a feeling of well-being.
How does the positive stick work?
All you have to do is use the positive stick handle with its 6 wings and make up and down movements to reproduce the way horses behave when they scratch.
What areas should it be used on?
Base of withers, neck, croup, shoulders, back, loins, nape of neck...: every horse is different and it will be up to you, the user, to find the sensitive area of your horse.
On the other hand, there are a few areas to be avoided to avoid injuring the horse and guarantee the rider's safety: head, limbs, genitals...
When to use it
You can use the positive stick at any time: on foot or on horseback, at work or not, for training a young horse or simply to create a bond by giving it pleasure!
