How can I protect my teeth?
"A mouthguard is a piece of personal protective equipment. It must meet current standards including the European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. For example, French standard XP S72-427 stipulates:
- Specific protective thicknesses to prevent perforation.
- Engaging upper and lower teeth to lock the jaw more effectively (protection against fractures).
- Covering the gums to prevent teeth loosening."
How to protect your teeth (continued)
"- An integrated ventilation space that allows you to breathe even when your jaw is closed.
The mouthguard must stay in place when you open your mouth. To do this, follow the thermo-molding instructions.
Renew your mouthguard according to the manufacturer's instructions, and in any case as soon as it shows signs of wear.
Refer to the product leaflet regarding the manufacturer's liability."
