Metalbone 3.3: The official Ale Galan 2024 racquet
Adidas Metalbone 3.4 racket, the new edition of Ale Galan's "weapon". It incorporates the best technologies to help you excel in your game.
Weight and Balance technology
The Weight and Balance System technology consists of a system of six removable screws located on the deck of the racket. Depending on the number of parts inserted, the weight will be 12 grams higher or lower.
If you leave the weight off, the balance of your Metalbone will be in the middle-lower part of the snowshoe, giving you extra maneuverability and control. However, if you raise the screw, you reduce the weight and increase the balance (power).
Outer material: Aluminized carbon 2 to 1
Made from 2 to 1 Aluminized Carbon, these fibers are less elastic than those normally found in other carbon-fiber rackets, offering a stiffer surface to transmit greater power when hitting.
Internal material: Eva Soft Performance
This foam features excellent vibration absorption and rapid recovery to improve ball release.
Octagonal Structure technology
Octagonal carbon tube shape. The 8 edges consolidate the rigidity of the structure, making this racquet the ideal weapon for aggressive players.
Structural Reinforcement technology
Reinforcements all around the perimeter of the snowshoe, to optimize its resistance to high levels of torsion.
Spin Blade Decal technology
Roughness on the surface of the racket that allows you to print all the spin more efficiently and also optimizes your feel for the ball.
Smart Holes Curve technology
The hole layout has been specially designed to enhance the effect of all shots.
Metalbone Protection Tape
It gives your racket the best possible protection. What's more, this lightweight, hard-wearing accessory protects your playing instrument during your most daring shots.
Who is this product for?
The Adidas Metalbone 3.4 25 racquet is designed for aggressive pro (left-handed) players with a determined, powerful style of play. It's not a model recommended for all players or all levels, as it requires a certain amount of technique to get the most out of it. If, on the other hand, you're an experienced player looking for maximum power, this is the weapon for you.
Weight: 345-360 g +(0-12) g
Weight is measured in grams. Like balance, it influences the racket's inertia and therefore its maneuverability, stability and ability to transfer energy to the ball (power). The heavier the racket, the more energy it will transfer to the ball, but the less manoeuvrable it will be. Conversely, the lighter the racket, the more manoeuvrable it will be, but the less energy it will transfer to the ball.
Balance: High (on top)
This is the racquet's balance point, measured in millimeters from the bottom of the racquet (handle).
The higher this value (head balance), the greater the racquet's power and stability, and the heavier it will feel (even if the weight isn't high). However, it will be less maneuverable. Conversely, the smaller this value (handle balance), the more manoeuvrable the snowshoe will be, but it will be less powerful and stable.
Sieve size: 485 cm2
This is the surface area in cm² of the racket's sieve. It has an impact on the racquet's feeling of tolerance and power. The larger the headsize, the more powerful and forgiving the racket, but the less control it feels. Conversely, the smaller the headsize, the more control but the less power and forgiveness.
