TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Description of the NANOFLARE series

Speed-oriented racquets with NANOFLARE (replacement for the NANORAY range) to meet the demands of a defensive or doubles game. They are balanced more or less in the handle to accentuate swing speed and maneuverability for increased acceleration of the shuttlecock.

Weight

83 gr - 4U (80-84 g). Weight is expressed in grams. Racquets range in weight from 60 grams to over 100 grams, and are classified into "U" weight ranges. The lighter the racket, the more maneuverable and comfortable it will be, the less traumatic it will be for the arm, and the more arm speed it will provide, but the less power it will have. On the contrary, the heavier the racket, the more powerful it will be, but the less comfortable it will be.

Flexibility

semi-rigid. Flexibility is defined by the shaft's ability to deform when struck. A racket's rigidity ranges from flexible to rigid. The more flexible the shaft, the greater the forgiveness and length of the shuttlecock, but the lower the speed of play. On the contrary, the stiffer the shaft, the more repulsion it will offer, but the greater the arm speed required, and the less forgiving it will be of hitting errors.

Balance

in the handle. Balance is the distribution of the racquet's weight. It is indicated in millimeters and measured from the bottom of the handle to the balance point. The more the racquet is in the handle, the more maneuverable and responsive it will be, perfect for a defensive or doubles player. On the contrary, the higher the head of the racquet, the more power it will offer, ideal for offensive players. On the other hand, it will feel heavier and more difficult to handle.

Composition

graphite. The composition of a badminton racket influences its price. Steel and/or aluminum rackets are solid, heavy and suitable for leisure use. Graphite/aluminum and full graphite rackets are lighter and more popular with advanced beginners. Finally, rackets made of High-Modulus Graphite and other technologies such as tungsten are designed for expert players.

Length

675 mm. The length of an adult snowshoe is measured in millimeters and varies between 660 mm and 680 mm. In reality, it's the shaft of the snowshoe that's longer or shorter. The shorter the shaft, the easier it is to handle and the better the feel. The longer it is, the more inertia it offers to accentuate power.

Grip size

G5 = small (80-84 mm). Grip size is expressed in millimeters. Racquet handle sizes range from 75 millimeters to over 90 millimeters and are classified in size ranges expressed in "G". The thicker the handle, the easier it is to grip, but the more difficult it is to change grip. The thinner the handle, the more dexterity it offers, and the greater the power of the fingers that can be used to impart speed to the racket.

Original rope

Racquets are originally strung with a 0.70 gauge Yonex string mm not commercially available. Only the very top-of-the-range rackets made in Japan are originally strung with BG 65 string with a gauge of 0.70 mm.

Original and recommended voltage

Original voltage 8-10 kg. Brand-recommended tension 8-12 kg. Original strung snowshoes are tensioned between 8 and 10 kg, depending on the loss of tension due to transport. Each brand then specifies a recommended tension, usually between 8 and 12 kg. This is to avoid any breakage of the frame when stringing or in the event of a shock or string breakage. Finally, some snowshoes with reinforced frames can withstand tensions of up to 16 kg.

Stringing plan: upright * across, Stringing instructions for 72 eyelets: B = down, H = up

22*21. Rope instruction in 4 knots Amount: start at the top center and rope up to B9. Pass through B12 to H11, then back to H10 to go down to B10 and finish by tying a knot on eyelet B8. (same on opposite side) Travers: Tie a knot on eyelet B6 and start traversing from B9. Continue across to H7 and finish by tying the knot on eyelet H5.

AERO FRAME

Frame with aerodynamic profile across the entire racquet head to reduce air resistance for faster hitting speeds

ISOMETRIC

The ISOMETRIC design increases the sweetspot by 7%*. Compared to a conventional round frame, an ISOMETRIC square-shaped racket generates a wider sweetspot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings.

SONIC FLARE SYSTEM

New ultra-thin, flat frame profile deforms on impact for greater striking speed

SLIM SHAFT

The thinner racket shaft provides improved air penetration, generating a powerful, fast stroke.
