THE RCR RANGE
The RCR range will delight all cyclists looking for a complete bike without compromise. Performance has been the priority on this bike. Each tube section has been calculated to be as efficient as possible in the main wind angles ( -15°/+15° ).
This bike falls into the category of aero-light bikes: an optimal balance of lightness, rigidity and aerodynamics has been found to make this an exceptional bike.
If you're looking for a bike capable of winning on any terrain, the RCR is there!
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RCR AND RCR PRO?
What makes a carbon frame is its geometry, shape and layup. The layup is the assembly of the carbon fibers. Not all fibers have the same properties.
On the RCR frame we use only high-modulus fibers. On the RCR PRO we've chosen exceptional fibers to reinforce the rigidity of the frame in the most stressed areas, while saving a little weight.
The RCR pro is ready to ride at the highest level.
ZOOM ON THE FRAME
The RCR PRO frame weighs 790 g painted in size M
The RCR fork weighs 380 g painted in size M
The frame accepts a tire section of 32 mm maximum.
There may be weight variations depending on the colors ( +/- 50g )
WARNING: Carbon frames must not be clamped to the top tube, seat tube and down tube using a clamp (workshop stand, bike rack). Carbon is a very rigid material, but it does not withstand compression.
THE COCKPIT
We have specially developed the cockpit for the RCR Pro with our partner Deda to improve aerodynamics by reducing the frontal surface while ensuring optimum ergonomics at the 3 points of support (levers, top of handlebars and bottom of handlebars). Hoses are 100% integrated for a sleek look.
The DEDA X VR COMBO is available in the following frame sizes:
(Stem length x Handlebar width)
XXS, XS: 90 X 380
S: 100 X 380
M: 100 X 400
L: 110 X 400

TRANSMISSION MAINTENANCE
We would like to draw your attention to the need for regular maintenance of your transmission, especially if you ride in difficult conditions (wet and/or dirty roads)
Regular maintenance will ensure that your transmission lasts longer.
Regular chain inspection is essential with this tool:

LIFE OF A TRANSMISSION
When buying a bike, it's important to take the cost of maintenance into account when choosing the drivetrain.
The values below are average values, given as an indication, and will vary greatly depending on maintenance.
The average life of a well-maintained chain is 5,000 km
The average life of a cassette is 10,000-12,0000 km
A poorly maintained chain can cause chain jumping and damage to the frame.
DISC BRAKES
Disc brake SHIMANO DURA ACE with 160 mm front and 140 mm rear discs.
DURA ACE disc brakes are hydraulic, so braking is more progressive and powerful.
A running-in period is required. Simply make a series of 20 progressive brake applications at low speed (20 km/h), and a second series at 30 km/h. Both brakes need to be run-in.
Running-in improves adhesion between pad and disc.
HYDRAULIC BRAKE MAINTENANCE
Hydraulic brakes operate via a closed circuit between your brake lever and your caliper.
The system is sealed by a hose.
Over time, a normal loss of pressure in your hoses will occur, resulting in a loss of braking efficiency. When your brake is too soft, or when you come to a stop on your handlebars, you need to bleed your system. This operation requires special tools and know-how.
WARNING AND ADJUSTMENT
ATTENTION: never brake with no load, if there is no wheel, you risk sticking the pads.
If your disc is touching, please proceed as follows to realign the caliper:
- Brake hard and retighten the caliper at the same time
If the problem persists, go to the store.

TIRE CONTINENTAL GP 5000S
The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR road tire is lighter, faster and has stronger sidewalls than its predecessor, the GP 5000. Drive faster, more comfortably and with greater protection against punctures

TUBELESS OR INNER TUBE
We recommend that you use the tubeless valve supplied with your bike to convert your tires to tubeless.
Tubeless tires provide greater comfort, better performance and allow the tire to repair itself in the event of small pinches.
Of course, an inner tube is always a must in your repair kit in the event of a puncture with a large hole in the tire.

WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE?
You should refer to the bike's geometry chart.
If you're between two sizes, a shorter bike will be better suited to cyclists looking for a more responsive, edgier bike. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more composed bike for long-distance riding, the larger size may be the better choice.
