Precautions for use
Before use, ensure that you are in an area where fire or barbecuing is permitted. Do not use in enclosed spaces.
During use, the stove becomes very hot and flames protrude from the top of the product.
Do not use the stove within 5 meters of a tent or dwelling. Do not touch the stove with your hands while in use. Wait until it has cooled down completely
Do not start fires in strong winds or in hot, dry weather.
Lighting tips
To light your stove, simply load wood into the central compartment after lighting a flame with dry kindling and/or a fire starter. The drier the wood, the better the combustion.
Then load the wood from the side as it burns, to feed the fire into the stove.
Don't forget to place the non-flammable mat underneath the stove for added safety, before lighting the fire.
Directions for use
Once the stove is lit, you can use it as a contained campfire, loading wood from the top. You can also cook over the fire, loading wood from the side thanks to the wood support tab.
Use containers compatible with the fire (mugs, pots, pans, teapots, etc.). The height of the stove makes it perfectly compatible with the Bushcraft plancha Solognac.
Storage tips
Once you've finished using your stove, it will stay hot for a long time. Make sure the fire is finished: sprinkle it with water to be perfectly sure. You can then empty the ashes and scatter them. Once the stove is cool, put it back in its carrying case.
Before you leave, make sure you leave no trace of your visit.
Maintenance tips
After use, you can wash your stove in soapy water and leave to dry before storing. The product is 100% stainless steel.
