TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Precautions for use

Before use, ensure that you are in a location where fire or barbecuing is permitted. Do not use in enclosed spaces.
During use, the stove becomes very hot and flames protrude from the top of the product.
Do not use the stove within 5 meters of a tent or dwelling. Do not touch the stove with your hands during use or when it is cooling down.
Be careful in windy conditions, as the flames will be bigger and stronger.

Lighting tips

To light your stove, simply load wood into the central compartment and light it (either with kindling or a fire starter). The drier the wood, the better the combustion.
Then load the stove with wood as it burns.

Double combustion: what is it?

When the stove is lit, the main burner at the bottom of the stove generates an initial incomplete combustion, releasing smoke. After a few minutes, the air circulating between the 2 walls of the stove heats up and escapes through the holes at the top of the chimney, generating a second combustion. You'll then see flames forming at the top of the stove. This double combustion limits the release of smoke and allows the wood to burn almost completely.

Directions for use

Once the stove is lit, you can use it as a contained campfire, loading wood from the top. You can also heat or cook on it, loading from the side and opening the hatch. Never handle the stove or the hatches with your hands: use the cold hand (metal rod) supplied to operate all functions. Do not leave the cold hand in the fire, otherwise it will become very hot.
Use fire-compatible pans.

Storage tips

Once you've finished using your stove, it will stay hot for a long time. Make sure the fire is finished (you can spray it with water to go faster). Move and handle the stove with a cool hand to empty the ash drawer and any wood residue in the firebox. Once cool, return the stove to its carrying case.

Maintenance tips

After use, you can wash your stove in soapy water and leave to dry before storing. The product is 100% stainless steel.
