TECHNICAL INFORMATION

What type of cartridge should I use with this MT900 stove?

This stove complies with EN521. It must be used exclusively with threaded-valve butane-propane cartridges conforming to EN417.

Conforming to this standard, Decathlon Forclaz cartridges (100 g, 230 g, 450 g) are therefore compatible with this stove as well as with models MT100, MT500 and MT500 Déporté Forclaz.

Before use, carefully read the instructions and precautions for use in the leaflet enclosed with the stove.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge

Gas cartridges should be installed in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors, and never in the presence of flames, heat sources, sparks or flammable materials.
Check that the gas inlet to your stove is closed, and that the gasket is present and in good condition.
Make sure the cartridge is on a stable horizontal surface. Do not shake it.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge (continued)

Hold the stove in one hand. Turn the cartridge clockwise as far as it will go, taking care not to damage the threads.
Follow the same instructions when removing the cartridge.
It is normal for a small pschit (escaping gas) of less than 2 seconds to occur when connecting the cartridge to the stove.
