Safety tips
Ewa, our product manager, recommends the complete set: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards. Because when it comes down to it, which part of the body you fall on... it's all a bit random.
We recommend the following protections: the PLAY SET OXELO (model code: 14777) and the B100 helmet (model code: 153191) or the MF500 helmet (model code: 160387).
A little technique: wheels and bearings...
Bearings are classified from ABEC 1 to 7.
Here, to ensure a progressive glide and safety, the bearings are adapted for use by beginner children: they are ABEC 1 bearings. In practical terms, you could say that the skates roll more slowly.
As for the wheels, their size is 60 mm.
How to adjust the size of children's rollerballs?
See the little tab on the front of the bootie? Simply snap it into place according to the size of your child's foot. The space at the front of the foot is then freed up to gain up to 2 sizes. Clever, isn't it?
LEARN100 roller skates, a history with apprentice skaters :)
It all began 4 years ago, with observation of practice, analysis of customer reviews, interviews with children and their parents to understand their needs.
It's THE product that's made entirely by the team: conception, design, testing: it's the fruit of teamwork.
Rubber brakes and wide wheels.
Unlike plastic, which shrivels but doesn't brake, brake rubber offers good grip, enabling your child to brake effectively.
What's more, rubber wears out less quickly than plastic.
For greater stability, we've equipped these rollers with wider wheels.
No need for a stability kit.
Would you like to repair or maintain your rollers?
You can find LEARN100 wheels, brake pads and compatible screws on our website and in your workshop Decathlon. It's all very easy to fit. Take a look at our tips and tutorials on our YouTube page Oxelo : https://www.youtube.com/user/oxelo/videos
How to extend wheel life
Depending on where they are placed on the skate, some wheels will wear more quickly than others. Don't hesitate to change their positions regularly.

How do we test our rollers?
All our rollers are laboratory-tested. These tests validate both European standards and wear tests. They are supplemented by field tests, some measured, others based on testers' perceptions. The result: a product that's been tested, proven... and approved. Including by the riders of our partner roller-skate clubs!
