Fitting
We recommend that you choose a size larger than your usual shoe size for this model.
How to ensure comfort and support?
The semi-flexible liner with 3D mesh provides good comfort by limiting humidity inside the skate. New comfort foams and heel cushioning ensure a pleasant skating experience.
The "cuff" (the upper part of the liner) is rigid and rises well to support the ankle. Combined with a triple tightening system (lace, micro-metric buckle and tightening strap), this system guarantees a well-maintained ankle.
Should you choose between glide quality and handling?
No, not with Oxelo. FIT500 rollers offer excellent glide quality thanks to an aluminum deck (more rigid than a plastic deck, it provides good energy restitution), ABEC 7 bearings and new 80 mm rubber wheels (80 A hardness for grip and comfort).
The combination of aluminum deck and 80 mm rubber wheels provides a good compromise between relaunch and glide quality.
The deck can also accommodate 84 mm wheels.
How do I maintain/repair my rollerblades?
You can change parts or repair the roller thanks to after-sales components available in stores, on the Internet or in the workshop of your Decathlon store.
Parts you can change: 80 mm 80 A or 80 mm 84 A wheels, ABEC 7 or 9 bearings. Brake support adaptable to right or left foot.
How can I extend the life of my rollerblades?
To prolong the life of your rollerblades, after riding in water, dust or sand, disassemble the wheels, dry them and degrease the bearings with a dry cloth. See our tips and tutorials on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/oxelo/videos
How to extend wheel life?
It's common practice to swap the wheels on your rollerblades, as the wear is not uniform - it's angled. The reason? We often skate with our rollerblades tilted inwards, to push, turn or even start.
To finish wearing out the rubber on your rollerblades, swap your rollerblade wheels (and invert them in pairs).
What is the maximum weight supported by these FIT500 rollerblades Oxelo ?
These adult roller skates comply with EN 13843 class A (adult roller skate standard). This standard applies to Roller Sports Equipment - In-line skates designed to support between 20 and 100 kg (of body weight). This European standard defines safety requirements and specifications relating to test methods, marking and information supplied by the manufacturer to reduce the risk of injury to the user.
How much do the FIT500 rollerblades fromOxelo weigh?
2.7 kg per pair in size 39.
How are our products tested?
All our rollers are laboratory-tested. These tests validate not only European standards for roller use, but also wear tests.
These lab tests are complemented by field tests, some measured, others based on the perceptions of the testers, who then put the product through its paces. The result: a tried and tested product.
