Why is the abdominal wheel so essential?
This accessory is a must-have for strengthening your abs. It works both the visible muscles (or chocolate bars) and the deep muscles. It improves posture and strengthens the abdominal girdle.
Warning: despite its simple appearance, the abdominal wheel requires proper execution to avoid hurting your back!
Why strengthen your abdominal muscles?
Strengthening the abdominal muscles has benefits not only for all types of sport, but also for your everyday life: improving posture, improving strength, preventing injury, getting into better shape every day...
By working the abdominals, obliques and lower back, you can strengthen what the Anglo-Saxons call the "core". In other words, the muscles of the abdominal girdle, without which the body could not stand upright.
Why use the dual-mode abdominal wheel?
We've reworked the old version of the abdominal wheel to make it suitable for even the most seasoned athletes.
But what's really changed on this wheel? We've made the unstable mode much more unstable, so that more experienced exercisers can continue to challenge themselves!
How to use the abdominal wheel
To perform the abdominal wheel exercise correctly:
- Kneel on a mat or cushion.
- Grab the two handles of the wheel
- Push it forward, keeping your knees in contact with the floor and your arms straight.
A few tips to avoid injury
To avoid any risk of injury, take care not to dig into your lower back and to contract your abdominal muscles well. To do this, reverse your pelvis.
If you're new to the Ab Wheel, don't try to go too far with it. To avoid too great a range of motion, practice in front of a wall or door that will stop you.
The Ab Wheel should not be used if you suffer from back problems or if you are not used to working your abdominal muscles.
