Why use this evolutionary abdominal wheel?
To ensure the effectiveness of the AB Wheel Evolutive, we carried out biomechanical tests on 25 athletes (16 beginners and 9 experts), comparing it to the AB Wheel Classique. 100% of beginners found the movement easier with the AB Wheel Evolutive, and went 7cm further in executing the movement. The back is less hollowed out during the movement with the AB Wheel Evolutive, and abdominal work is just as intense.
And its pad protects your knees!
How does the wheel evolve?
This wheel is evolutionary, as the length of its strap adapts to your progress: the easier the movement becomes, the longer you lengthen the strap. The small mat attached to the strap allows you to position your knees correctly to start practicing comfortably.
When you're finished with the strap, simply remove it!
Use your evolutionary wheel in complete safety
To use the evolving wheel properly, put your knees on the mat, start with the strap at the shortest setting, and start lowering your whole body forward, including your pelvis. If this is too easy, you can lengthen the strap. The markings on the strap allow you to keep track of your progress from one session to the next.
Do not let your pelvis drop backwards or dig into your back.
The maximum weight supported by the evolving wheel is 110kg.
Our coach guides you through the use of the evolutionary wheel
Adjust the strap so that you can do quality repetitions: without digging into your back at all.
Do 3 sets of 5 repetitions, adding one repetition to each session until you reach 3 sets of 10 repetitions.
Change the strap setting so that it assists you less and start again with sets of 3×6 repetitions. And so on until you can remove the strap!
Use the wheel 2 or 3 times a week and complement your work with other exercises and bodyweight training.
