How to fill your backpack?
Place heavy equipment at the back. Put your clothes on top. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece close at hand. In the pockets, divide up the day's small items (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.). Put your water bag in the compartment along your back, and your water bottle in the outside water pocket.
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment and each of the pockets. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in liters.
