Thanks to the observations and opinions of our customers, we have reworked this iconic model to make it more comfortable.
The back and shoulder straps have been padded, and the compartments redesigned to better separate your belongings (clothes, water bottle, wallet, phone, etc.).
Tested in use by numerous hikers, its functionalities have been tried and tested.
Your comfort comes first
Thanks to the quality of your feedback, we've added more comfort in the back with the insertion of vertical pads. The foams have been thickened and covered with an aerated fabric for a softer feel, and to better evacuate heat and moisture.
The straps, more ventilated than on the previous model, have been covered with the same fabric for optimal ventilation.
More pockets
We've listened to your opinions and added more storage pockets to this model to better organize your belongings during your hikes.
A side pocket in stretch mesh has been added on the outside of the bag to hold your water bottle (max 0.8 liters), umbrella or other items; and a zipped pocket on the inside for your personal belongings (wallet, phone, keys, cereal bar, etc.).
Waterproofing
The bag's components are water-repellent, so you can temporarily continue your walk/hiking in light rain.
Please note: this backpack is not waterproof/water-repellent and does not come with a rain cover.

Tested for optimum strength
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foams and zips. For example, we test fabric for abrasion and tear resistance, color fastness to UV rays and washing, and waterproofing. We also carry out tests to check the resistance of assemblies, by reproducing the bag's stresses and strains over a period of years on a dummy reproducing a hiker's movements.
