Waterproofing
The bag's components are water-repellent, so you can temporarily continue your walk/hiking in light rain.
Please note: this backpack is not waterproof/water-repellent and does not come with a rain cover.
If you want to continue your walk/hiking in wet weather and protect your belongings, we recommend this model: "10 to 20-liter rain cover", available on our website, reference 8772113.
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: the main compartment and each pocket are filled with small beads. These balls are then emptied into a graduated container, giving the equivalent volume in liters.
How to adjust your backpack?
1 - Loosen shoulder straps
2 - Load backpack
3 - Retighten shoulder straps
How to fill your backpack?
Put heavy items on the bottom. Arrange your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or sweater close at hand. Place small items of daily use (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. Water bottles can be placed in the side pockets provided.
Tested for optimum strength
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam and zips. For example, for fabric, we test abrasion and tear resistance, color fastness to UV exposure and washing, and waterproofing. We also carry out tests to verify assembly resistance, using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to reproduce several years of wear and tear on the bag.
