The bag's components are water-repellent, so you can temporarily continue your walk/hiking in light rain.
Please note: this backpack is not waterproof/water-repellent and does not come with a rain cover.
If you want to continue your walk/hiking in wet weather and protect your belongings, we recommend this model: "10 to 20-liter rain cover", available on our website, reference 8772113.
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment and each of the pockets. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in liters.
The main volume of this bag is 16L.
We also measured the volume with the 2 external side pockets, and its total capacity is 17L.

Indeed, the idea is to offer a versatile backpack that can accompany you on your walks, hikes and also during all your daily travels.
This bag offers two different and comfortable carrying modes, either on the back or in the hand, thanks to its two large ergonomic handles.
How to adjust your bag?
1 - Loosen the straps on the shoulder straps
2 - Put on the bag loaded with your belongings, making sure it is well balanced
3 - Tighten the straps on the shoulder straps
4 - Walk a few metres and balance your bag slightly on your back
5 - Adjust the shoulder straps one last time.
How to fill your backpack?
Place heavy equipment at the back. Clothes are stored around them. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece close at hand. In the pockets, divide up the day's small items (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.).
Put your water bottle in one of the outside pockets provided or inside in the main compartment.
Tested for optimum strength
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foams and zips. For example, we test fabric for abrasion and tear resistance, color fastness to UV rays and washing, and waterproofing. We also carry out tests to check the resistance of assemblies, by reproducing the bag's stresses and strains over a period of years on a dummy reproducing a hiker's movements.
