Waterproofing
The bag's components are water-repellent, so you can temporarily continue your walk/hiking in light rain.
Please note: this backpack is not waterproof/water-repellent and does not come with a rain cover.
If you want to continue your walk/hiking in wet weather and protect your belongings, we recommend this model: "rain cover 20 to 40 liters", available on our website, reference 8734213.
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment and each of the pockets. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in liters.
The main volume of this bag is 32L.
We have also measured the volume with the 2 external side pockets, and its total capacity is 35L.
Tested for optimum strength
To ensure that your bag will stand the test of time, laboratory tests are carried out on components and assemblies, simulating the aging of backpacks.
For example, we test fabric for abrasion and tear resistance, color fastness to UV rays and washing, and waterproofing.
These tests enable us to guarantee tested bags for 10 years from the date of purchase indicated on the sales receipt.
How to adjust your bag?
1 - Loosen all straps, suspenders, chest and lap belts
2 - Put on the bag
3 - Buckle the chest belt and adjust its height and width
4 - Tighten the suspender straps (from top to bottom)
5 - Buckle and adjust the lap belt
6 - Adjust to your liking
Done!
How to fill your backpack?
Place heavy equipment, such as computers and picnics, at the back of the room. Clothes are stored around them. In the pockets, divide up the day's small items (phone, sun cream, map, glasses, keys, wallet, etc.). Water bottle(s) should be placed in the outside side pockets provided.
