10-YEAR WARRANTY
We pay particular attention to abrasion resistance to ensure your bag lasts.
The R&D department of confection lourde, a partner of Quechua for the research and validation of its components and assemblies, carries out tests (on components, seams and the finished product) simulating the ageing of backpacks.
Their results enable us to guarantee the tested bags for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase indicated on the sales receipt.
DON'T THROW IT AWAY, PUT IT BACK!
Our products accompany you on your mountain hikes.
As you progress, they age, and certain parts can wear out or break.
To make repairs easier, we offer buckles and a chest clip compatible with your bag in the "Bag accessories / trekking" section. Don't throw it away, repair it!
WHICH WATER BAG?
There's a compartment inside the bag for a water pouch (there's also a hole for the tube outlet).
The water pouch is not included in this backpack, but you can buy a 1-liter, 2-liter or 3-liter pouch in stores.
TIP: MOBILE BELLY POUCH
Our model features a mobile ventral pocket. Depending on your morphology, you may find it useful to move your pouch forward using the Velcro fastener, so that it's accessible and doesn't get in the way on the sides when you're hiking.
WATERPROOFING
This bag is NOT waterproof. If you wish to protect your belongings from the rain, you can purchase a "20 to 40-liter" rain cover, available on our website (code 8734213).
CABIN LUGGAGE
When traveling by air, the maximum dimensions allowed for cabin baggage are 55x35x25cm3 (please note that this may vary from airline to airline).
This bag can therefore be used as cabin baggage, as long as you don't overload the hat.
How do I adjust my bag?
1 - Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, belt, load reminders).
2 - Put the bag on.
3 - As this is a small bag, place the belt around your waist and tighten it.
4 - Tighten the shoulder straps.
5 - Adjust the load reminders to your liking.
How do I fill my bag?
Place sleeping equipment at the back.
Place heavy equipment near the back. Clothes are stored around the back. Keep a waterproof and/or fleece jacket close at hand. In the pockets, divide up the day's small equipment (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.).
The water bag is placed in the compartment along the back.
HOW TO CARE FOR AND WASH A BACKPACK?
We recommend washing your backpack by hand. Use lukewarm, soapy water, possibly with a brush, paying particular attention to the parts in contact with your body (shoulder straps, back, hip belt), where you have perspired.
This is the safest way to ensure that the fabrics retain their properties, especially water repellency.
Then rinse generously with lukewarm water, and dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiators). Store in a dry place.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH
