The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method. We use small balls to fill the main compartment and each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container, which determines the equivalent volume in liters, with a tolerance of a few %.
How do I fill my bag for optimum comfort?
Place sleeping gear at the back. Near the back, place heavy equipment (tent, stove, food). Clothes should be stored around them. Floor mats or tents can be placed under the flap or under the bag if they don't fit inside. Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece close at hand. In the pockets, divide up the day's equipment (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.). The water bag is placed in the compartment along the back.
Recommended carrying weight
In line with the program for which this backpack was designed, we recommend a maximum load weight of 15 kg. This will enable you to benefit from all its qualities. In addition, to avoid putting too much strain on your back, it's best not to exceed a load weight equivalent to 20-25% of your own body weight.
How do I adjust my bag?
Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, belt, load reminders).
First, adjust the back height of the bag.
Put on the bag. Place the belt over the hips (it should encompass the pelvic iliac bones) and tighten it.
Tighten the shoulder straps.
Tighten the torso strap.
Adjust the load reminders to bring the weight of the bag close to you.
The shoulder straps should wrap around the shoulders, but without pressing hard. If necessary, readjust the back height (shorter or longer).
Protect your bag from the rain
To make sure your trek goes smoothly, it's important to be well equipped. We recommend a rain cover, available separately. Discover our storage accessories, repair loops and attachment straps. discover our accessories offer
