Isothermal
We tested this cooler in the laboratory, in accordance with EN 12546-2, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, filled to half its volume. The time taken to go from 5°C (temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C is 7 hours.
By adding 1.2kg of ice, the time taken to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 10 hours.
Capacity
Volume: 20 liters.
Recommended for 2 to 4 people.
Inside you'll find a system to keep your bottles upright during transport and a zipped pocket for the hat.
Outside you'll find a zipped pocket, separate from the cooler, to keep your belongings dry and avoid contact with the food in the cooler (wallet, key, map, camera, etc.).
The bag also has 2 external nets.
Dimensions
Unfolded, the cooler's dimensions are as follows: (Length x Width x Height)
External dimensions: 29 x 19 x 42 cm
Internal dimensions: 28 x 18 x 38 cm
Folded, the cooler is more compact, measuring 29 cm in width, 10 cm in thickness and 40 cm in height.
Waterproofing
This backpack is not waterproof on the inside. The bottom of the backpack does not retain water.
It is sometimes possible for condensation to form inside the bag and for a few drops of water to seep through the seams. Rest assured, this rarely happens and will not damage your food.
Directions for use
To keep your food cooler for longer, you can add cold accumulators to your bag.
When loading your bag, we recommend that you place food that needs to stay cool together at the bottom of the bag.
Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your insulated backpack, we recommend that you open it only when necessary and close it quickly.
How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment and each of the pockets. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in liters.
