The thickness and softness of the foams provide optimum comfort for all-day wear.
Foam thicknesses:
- Back 20mm thick: 15mm PE + 5mm PU.
- Shoulder straps 15mm to 18mm thick: 10mm PE + 5 to 8mm PU.
PE: Polyethylene. I PU: Polyurethane.
Waterproofing
The inside of the backpack is watertight, so you don't have to worry about leaking food and drink. Just like the condensation generated by ice-cream bars, water stays in the bottom of the bag.
For easy cleaning, the main compartment's white component is removable thanks to its peripheral zip.
Isothermal
To insulate the main compartment, we use 20mm-thick Polyurethane (PU) foam.
We tested this cooler in the laboratory, in accordance with EN 12546-2, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, filled to half its volume. The time taken to go from 5°C (temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C is 11 hours.
By adding 1.2kg of ice pack, the time taken to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 17 hours.
Directions for use
To keep your food cooler for longer, you can add cold accumulators to your bag.
When loading your bag, we recommend that you place food that needs to stay cool together at the bottom of the bag.
Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your insulated backpack, we recommend that you open it only when necessary and close it quickly.

Compartmentalized and accessorized to facilitate organization of your picnics:
- 1 main 20L insulated compartment
- 1 upper 4L compartment, separate from food, to store your personal belongings (book, wallet, key, sun cream...). Suitable for dry food. Foam padding protects
- 1L zipped front pocket
- Outside: 2 wide, extendable water-bottle holders, a strap with hook for sliding on other equipment.

How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment and each of the pockets. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in liters.
