Along with the D.V.A., the pocket and shovel are essential tools for any off-piste / freeride / ski touring outing.
Ski / snowboard / ice axe carry
You can carry a snowboard on the front of the bag or a pair of adult skis on the side or 2 pairs of junior skis on the side.
This allows you to keep your hands free and walk comfortably to the ski lifts or to get your freeride routes.
An ice axe can be carried.
Ski-carrying instructions
To carry your skis sideways, place the heel of your skis in the low strap, which automatically adjusts to the width of your skis.
Secure your skis with the adjustable side strap.
If you wish, you can join your two skis with a ski strap, to stabilize your carriage.
Snowboard carrying instructions
Put a snowboard spatula into the bottom strap of your backpack, undo the two side straps and tie them together to finish securing your snowboard.
Helmet-carrying
A net is provided for carrying your helmet on top of the bag.
Removable back bra
You have a removable back protector that you can take off if you want to lighten your pack. Note, however, that in this case you no longer have a back protector.
Straps
Adjustable, comfortable, foamed and preformed shoulder straps for maximum comfort and stability.
A height-adjustable chest strap with whistle, to keep the bag firmly on the back.
A wide neoprene ventral strap provides the comfort and support needed to prevent unwanted movement of the bag while skiing. Lined with a wide strap for more precise tightening.
Pockets
A large-volume main pocket, accessed from the top of the bag or via a quick-release zip on the back, ideal for loading the bag.
A safety pocket for the shovel and probe, with a quick-release zip.
A felted mask pocket.
A mesh pocket in the mask compartment.
A side pocket, accessible from both inside and outside (water bottle).
A small pocket on the neoprene chest strap.
Carrying handle
Handle for ergonomic grip and easy transport or storage of the bag.
Mask pocket
A front mask pocket for a spare mask, glasses or cell phone.
A soft cloth inside to protect screens (mask, phone, glasses).
RECCO® System
This bag features a RECCO® reflector.
With RECCO® technology, you can be located in the event of an avalanche accident. Equipped with RECCO® reflectors, a buried person can be located quickly and accurately by the rescue services using the RECCO® detector. RECCO® reflectors do not replace the use of a avalanche beacon. Complementary in function, RECCO® technology increases the chances of being found in time.
Standard
The bag is equipped with back protection foam tested to a standard (NF EN 1621-2) and compliant with European regulations. This foam is designed to protect you from the violent shocks caused by falls during freeride skiing.
This foam is removable (ATTENTION no foam = no protection).
