10-year warranty
The warranty covers defects in the backpack, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and abnormal conditions of use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted on presentation of the product and the sales receipt. If the product is covered by the warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. This commercial warranty does not exclude legal warranties applicable in different countries and/or states.
Resistance
We pay particular attention to abrasion resistance to ensure that your bag is durable.
The R&D department of confection lourde, Quechua 's partner in the research and validation of its components and assemblies, carries out tests (on components, seams and the finished product) simulating the ageing of backpacks.
Their results enable us to guarantee the tested bags for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase indicated on the sales receipt.
Lightweight
Because you have to carry your gear when you go hiking, we think about lightness.
At Quechua, we design our products to be ever lighter and to guarantee freedom of movement.
Product design: our expertise
Our worldwide design center Quechua is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie.
This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers...) and outdoor sports enthusiasts.
A great asset for designing your mountain hiking products, and for providing you with all our expertise.
HOW TO CARE FOR AND WASH A BACKPACK?
We recommend washing your backpack by hand. Use lukewarm, soapy water, possibly with a brush, paying particular attention to the parts in contact with your body (shoulder straps, back, hip belt), where you have perspired.
This is the safest way to ensure that the fabrics retain their properties, especially water repellency.
Then rinse generously with lukewarm water, and dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiators). Store in a dry place.
How do I adjust my bag?
1 - Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, belt, load reminders).
2 - Put the bag on.
3 - As this is a small bag, place the belt around your waist and tighten it.
4 - Tighten the shoulder straps.
5 - Adjust the load reminders to your liking.
Cabin baggage
When you travel by plane, the maximum dimensions allowed for cabin baggage are 55x35x25cm3 (please note that this may vary depending on the airline).
This bag can therefore be used as cabin baggage.
