AIR Concept
Inspired by its MT500 AIR sibling, this bag features a ventilated back structure with a mesh fabric that allows the back to breathe better and dry quickly.
Capacity
50 L volume with +10 L extension. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method. We use small balls to fill the main compartment and each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container, which determines the equivalent volume in liters, with a tolerance of a few %.
How do I load my bag?
Place sleeping gear at the back. Near the back, place heavy equipment (tent, stove, food). Clothes should be stored around them. Floor mats or tents can be placed under the flap or under the bag if they don't fit inside. Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece close at hand. In the pockets, divide up the day's equipment (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.). The water bag is placed in the compartment along the back.
How to use multi-purpose straps
The new MT500 AIR and MT900 UL series of trekking backpacks feature two straps with open aluminum buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps can be used to attach a tent or mattress to the bottom of the bag or to the barrel. When not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them in) in the hidden pocket provided for this purpose, or detached and used elsewhere thanks to their lark's head buckle system.

Recommended carrying weight
In line with the program for which this backpack was designed, we recommend a maximum load weight of 12 kg. This will enable you to benefit from all its qualities. In addition, to avoid putting too much strain on your back, it's best not to exceed a load weight equivalent to 20-25% of your own body weight.
Materials
Main fabric in 100D RS polyamide (Ripstop = increased tear resistance), reinforced bag bottom (210D RS)
