WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO INSTALL A FILTER?
The study by the Technical University of Darmstadt shows that the climber's environment is loaded with PM10 due to the magnesia in the air.
At the same time, we observe that the chalk bag can accidentally spill on the ground at the foot of the blocks/tracks.
In this case, the climber wastes his chalk and contributes to loading the air with PM10.
This is why, to mitigate this loss of chalk, our engineers have designed 1 textile filter, integrated into the chalk bag.
DOESN'T THE FILTER PREVENT MY HAND FROM EASILY REACHING IN TO POKE?
Indeed, that was the challenge!
After many prototypes and tests, here's the recipe:
➡1 very elastic and smooth fabric to have no snagging of the hand when it goes into the bag;
➡1 slit all over the middle to get the hand in easily;
Of course it will always remain slightly easier to get the hand in a chalk bag without filter but after many use tests with climbers, the challenge was met!
HOW WAS THIS -55% MEASURED?
Here's the test that was carried out to validate the effectiveness of the "Chalk barrier" textile filter
1-The same quantity of magnesia was put into 1 Vertika Chalk Barrier chalk bag and 1 Vertika chalk bag;
2-The chalk bags were dropped 10 times from a height of 1.4 meters;
3-The quantity of magnesia remaining in the 2 chalk bags was measured.
The difference in the quantity of magnesia was 55%.

The shape of the opening is slightly oval to better fit the hand.
