TECHNICAL INFORMATION

How is the comfort temperature of the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag determined?

We display on all our sleeping bags the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in accordance with European standard ISO 23537-1 dated 21/01/2017. The comfort temperature is the lower limit of comfort at which a person in a relaxed posture is in overall thermal equilibrium and neither cold nor hot (determined for a standard woman and under normal conditions of use).
Choose your sleeping bag according to it.

What is the comfort temperature limit for the ULTIM COMFORT 10°C sleeping bag?

The comfort temperature limit is the temperature at which a person curled up in a sleeping bag is in overall thermal equilibrium and neither cold nor hot (determined for a man and under normal conditions of use).

What is the composition of the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag?

Inner fabric: 100% cotton | Outer fabric: 100% polyester pongee | Filling: 100% polyester wadding 300 g/m².

Is the comfort temperature the same for everyone?

A sleeping bag doesn't produce heat; it retains the heat produced by the body. If you're exhausted and cold, and you slip into your icy, damp sleeping bag, you're likely to be cold, no matter how good it is! These temperatures depend on a person's resistance to the cold (build, fatigue, etc.), their equipment (mattress insulating from the ground, etc.), their clothing (nude, underwear, etc.), and climatic conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).

How do I dress for sleeping in the ULTIM COMFORT 10°C sleeping bag?

To use the ULTIM COMFORT 10°C sleeping bag, simply dress yourself (a single layer of clothing is sufficient). Warm up your extremities with hats, gloves, socks, warmers, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot-water bottle (beware of accidental opening!). Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is transformed into heat), but without making any movement that generates cold draughts.
To reduce the amount of washing you do, use a sleeping bag sheet.

How do I wash the ULTIM COMFORT 10 °C sleeping bag?

The ULTIM COMFORT 10°C sleeping bag can be machine-washed.
We recommend using a washing machine with a capacity of at least 7 kg.
Also remember to fasten your sleeping bag's zippers securely.
