TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Precautions for electronic devices

Electronic devices are fragile and precious. We recommend doubling protection by packing phones in waterproof pouches inside duffel bags. Cameras can be placed in a small duffel bag (5L or 10L) or in a large duffel bag (30L, 40L, 60L).
Take care when closing bags, and regularly check their watertightness with a paper towel before you go out.

Closing system

To ensure a watertight seal:
1/ carefully roll the top of the bag 5 times, tightening the folds over the thickness of the strap
2/ close the central buckle
3/ close the side buckles

Leave air in the bag. The bag should appear inflated when closed: it's more waterproof this way, and has the advantage of floating in the event of a fall into the water.

Storage

The 5L and 10L bags can be used as bag-in-bags in the 30L, 40L and 60L bags to double the waterproof protection of sensitive items and to compartmentalize belongings.

Restrictions

Not suitable for canyoning or snorkeling (long dives).

TESTS

WATERPROOFING TESTS:

TEST 1: "WATER FLAQUE"
The bag withstands surface immersion for 8 hours in 10 cm of water.
This test corresponds to a bag floating in a water-filled boat, or a one-off fall into the water.

TEST 2: "SHOWER"
The bag withstands a shower of 450 L/m²/h for 4 hours.
This test corresponds to storm rain or wave projection.
