CUTTING INFORMATION
Body-hugging cut with plenty of room to wear tights underneath, like our 500 tights.
Surchaud
These dungarees are also known as "overshorts": they can be worn during warm-up, over competition tights, and can be removed just before the start without having to take off your shoes, thanks to a zip that opens completely along the legs. A real plus in terms of practicality!
DEPERLANCE
To protect you during your cross-country ski outings in the snow, we have designed water-repellent garments.
The water repellency of a fabric corresponds to its ability to let water slide off its surface without absorbing it. Water repellency is achieved by a treatment applied to the outside of the fabric.
This ensures that the fabric remains breathable.
How can I stay warm and dry on my cross-country ski outings?
We advise you to follow the 3-layer technique.
Layer 1: second skin (technical undergarment) that allows moisture transfer to keep the skin dry.
Layer 2: insulating (T-shirt, fleece) that provides warmth and moisture transfer.
Layer 3: outer and protective (jacket) that protects against the elements: wind, snow and cold.
Adapt the number of layers according to the intensity of your effort and the weather, and opt for breathable clothing.
Why protect yourself from the wind?
Did you know that wind makes you feel colder? At an outside temperature of 0°, with 20km of wind, the perceived temperature will be -10°. Windproof components reduce this cooling effect by preventing air circulation, either due to the wind or to the relative speed of the sporting activity.
