How to keep kids warm on the slopes?
To stay warm and dry, simply apply the 3-layer rule: Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. Layer 2, or insulating layer, to retain heat. Layer 3, or protective layer, to keep out the elements.
How is fabric waterproofness measured?
The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is measured in mm water column (test based on ISO 811). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. For example, the fabric of the 500 overall has a waterproof rating of 10000mm, which means it can withstand the pressure of 10000mm of water.
For skiing and snowboarding, we recommend fabrics ranging from 3000mm to 10000mm.
