The Tribord Offshore PRO range has been developed and tested with Yannick Bestaven and other partner skippers. It meets their requirements during all their races, inshore and offshore, transatlantic, single-handed or with crew and on different boats: Yannick BESTAVEN (IMOCA), Quentin VLAMYNCK (Ocean 50 and Figaro 3), Achille NEBOUT, les VOILEUSES AU LARGE, Keni PIPEROL (Class 40), Romain LE GALL (Figaro 3) and Léo BOTHOREL (Mini 6.50).
How to wear these merino wool-lined overalls?
It's designed to slip under a pair of shift overalls thanks to its slim, supple components.
The cut is close-fitting, with adjustments at the bottom of the jacket and at the handles.

Always at the right temperature
For sailing, our challenge is to design products that enable you to stay at the right temperature at all times, alternating between very active phases (heat production) and static phases when exposed to the wind (heat loss).
These merino-lined sailing overalls:
1- insulate against the cold,
2- allow perspiration to evaporate and limit odors thanks to the merino wool,
3- are windproof and water-repellent,
Cold insulation
Following a thermal study of the human body, we have identified the zones of perspiration and heat loss during active and passive phases.
We have selected the appropriate components:
- merino merino wool (250 gr/m2) for its insulating properties, even when wet.
- fleece to complement wool in certain zones
- breathable mesh to wick away perspiration.
These 3 options vary according to the zones of the body.
Sweat evacuation and odor control
Merino wool is also odor-limiting (ISO 17299-3 laboratory test). On long voyages, this is a real plus.
Windproof and water-repellent
The outer fabric provides effective protection from the wind, a recurrent cause of cold. It is water-repellent, so the Offshore Pro Series merino overalls are not waterproof.
Toilet opening
The double central slider and rear opening zip allow you to go to the toilet without removing the overalls.
The overalls also have a front opening zip for urinating without having to open the entire overalls.
How to choose the right size of merino overalls?
The dungarees have a close-fitting cut. They are designed to be worn with thermal underwear.
For men, choose your usual size.
For women, we advise you to choose a size smaller than your usual size.
A Velcro adjustment on the shoulder straps allows the dungarees to be adjusted to your size.
A lycra ankle cuff adjusts the dungarees to your morphology and makes it easier to put on boots.
