TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Grippy soles on footpaths

Our hiking sandals are designed for use on hiking trails. In fact, we select and test the sole and upper components of our shoes to ensure they are ideally suited to hiking on soft trails (such as dirt forest paths) or mineral trails (such as rocky coastal paths). Use on roads (asphalt) may accelerate wear and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain hiking.

Where does our leather come from?

We use a leather called nubuck. It has a fluffy, silky feel.

We recommend that you store your sandals in a cool, dry, dark and ventilated place, away from sources of heat.

Restrictions

Not recommended for water, mountain hiking or asphalt.

TESTS

It's in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team imagines, thinks and designs Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers to ensure their comfort and durability. Forêt de Fontainebleau or Brittany, for example. We visit as many trails as possible, in all weathers. It's a great way to exchange ideas, get feedback and anticipate future collections!

These sandals have been tested and approved by a dozen hikers in France during hikes in the Vaucluse in 2021.
To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the great outdoors in the conditions you encounter on your hikes.
Our teams, along with a panel of testers (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers) test the products throughout their development right up to marketing.
