TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Design & Conception

This bib strap has been designed to match our entire 900 jumping range. You'll find a neat, elegant style, designed to meet the horse's needs while riding. A few subtle details dress up the product: quality topstitching, branded metal plate.

Tailor

This model is available in sizes 115 to 145. On the 115 size (generally suitable for ponies), we've worked on a narrower bib shape to avoid compressing the elbows.

Our recommendations for use

The bib girth is ideal for jumping and competition training. It will protect your horse's belly from the impact of shoes or hooves. However, we recommend that you use a girth without bib for dressage, as it will be more comfortable for your horse.

Our maintenance tips

To preserve your bib strap, we recommend regular care with glycerine soap applied to a sponge dampened with warm water. You can then moisturize your leather with grease applied to a household or special leather cloth. If you feel that your leather is rough and dry, you can complete this maintenance with moisturizing milk, which will deeply nourish your leather.

Our tuning tips

After your purchase, we advise you to check that the girth is the right shape for your horse. A few simple steps are all it takes to make sure. First, for a girth to be properly adjusted, you need to check the positioning of the saddle. The saddle should be positioned behind the shoulder. Once the saddle is in position, you can check that the forelegs are free to move by placing a flat hand between your girth and the back of your horse's elbows.
