WHY USE A LINE HEAD?
The leader is recommended in most situations.
Firstly, it cushions and absorbs the most powerful casts, allowing long distances to be reached with small-diameter nylon (or braid).
Secondly, it greatly increases the chances of extracting a carp from an obstacle thanks to its high abrasion resistance.
Thirdly, it protects the fish from the shearing action of the line body (usually a relatively thin line).
