WHY CHOOSE TRIBORD SAILING 900 SHORTS?
We recommend wearing waterproof shorts during regattas or active cruising, for all users who want to keep their buttocks dry. The waterproof component combined with the construction of the shorts guarantees no water entry through the shorts. So you'll be protected when you sit on the deck of a wet boat, or when you catch a spray.
How are Tribord Sailing 900 shorts waterproof?
The component combined with the construction guarantee a waterproof product.
The component is waterproof to 10,000 mm schmerber, giving it a high level of impermeability.
All seams are taped to stay dry.
No seams are positioned on the buttocks to make the product robust and avoid any water entry on the part in contact with the boat when sitting
A water-repellent treatment is applied to the component so that water slides off the shorts.
ARE THE SHORTS RESISTANT?
We've added reinforcement to the buttocks to make the product resistant to rubbing on the boat deck's non-slip surface.
We've chosen salt-resistant components, with sturdy zippers to follow you on all your adventures.
WHAT ARE ALL THESE POCKETS FOR?
This pocket is equipped with 4 pockets:
- 2 hand pockets, with a cutaway design to keep your belongings in your pockets when seated
- a zipped pocket on the left thigh, but not waterproof, for slipping in knives, etc.
- a cargo pocket with scratch flap on the right thigh and mesh on the bottom to let water drain out of the pocket.
SHORTS THAT ADAPT TO YOUR SIZE!
We've opted for a Velcro-adjustable waistband on each hip, so that the shorts fit snugly and you can adjust them as you like. The shorts will stay in place and won't squeeze you for maximum comfort.
The snap button ensures a good fit and is much less likely to snag or tear than a conventional button when maneuvering. It adds performance to your sailing, not to mention style!
IN COMBINATION WITH CALECON RACE TRIBORD
These shorts have been designed to be combined with the RACE boxer shorts for greater abrasion resistance.
HOW TO WASH SHORTS
To preserve water repellency, we recommend that you limit the number of washes.
Close all zips and flaps, empty the pockets and then turn the garment inside out to wash inside out. You can wash it on a synthetic program at 30° or 40°C with your usual detergent. Do not use fabric softener, which could damage the garment's original performance, or bleach. Very important: rinse thoroughly or use a double rinse.
HOW TO REACTIVATE DEPERLANCE?
Drying is essential to reactivate the water-repellent treatment.
We recommend that you let your shorts dry completely in the open air, flat on a drying rack. Never dry your shorts directly on a radiator.
Then tumble dry them on the synthetic program for a short time, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes, before putting them back on. The heat reactivates the water-repellent treatment.
Be careful not to over-dry the garment.
