YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED SURFER
You surf regularly.
During your sessions, you paddle to the line up, duck over the bar if you're on a shortboard (or turtle if you're on a longboard) and then surf waves of less than a meter.
You often fall and are used to being shaken underwater. Your swimsuit needs to meet the demands of your sport and stay in place with every movement. We've designed a range of swimsuits for you, adapted to your regular practice and your morphology.
How to choose the right combination (Part 1)
The first criterion for choosing a wetsuit is water temperature.
Water temperature varies according to location and time of year.
Always check that the water temperature on your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range:
Waters above 20°C.
Waters between 17 and 22°C.
Waters between 12 and 17°C.
Waters between 7 and 12°C.
Consult seatemperature.org for the temperature of your spot.
How to choose the right combination (Part 2)
Choosing the right size
To get the most out of your wetsuit, it's essential to choose the right size.
We recommend that you try on your wetsuit before you buy, and simulate paddling or taking off (inside or outside the cabin - we promise not to judge at Decathlon !).
A wetsuit should be worn snugly, with no visible creases under the arms or in the back.
When dry, it's normal to feel a little too tight, but this discomfort disappears once you're in the water.
CLOSE
Our zips and fasteners are laboratory-tested to ensure optimum durability and resistance to salt water.
We position the fastener at the front of the suit for greater comfort in board sports, especially surfing, and to limit water ingress into the suit.
For every temperature range
When we're in the water, it's through our extremities (feet, hands, head) that we lose more than half of our body heat.
Therefore, here are the recommended accessories for surfing:
- In water > 17°C: neoprene socks.
- In water from 12 to 17°C: high surf shoes and gloves.
- In water from 7 to 12°C: high surf shoes, gloves, balaclava or top balaclava.
