EXPERIENCE
Different radii according to size for perfect adaptation to the type of turn of choice
3 sizes corresponding to 3 programs and not a choice of ski size according to the user's size.
XTR - Xtra Short Turn 166cm = for very short turns with ultra-fast edge changes
STR - Short Turn 171cm = the most versatile in the 900 R range when it comes to turns
MTR - Medium Turn 176cm = for wider turns and/or large, fast turns.
CONSTRUCTION
A wood core running the full length of the ski ensures even deformation in curves, giving the skier responsiveness, comfort and stability.
Carbon reinforcement to "energize" the ski during acceleration.
Vertical melamine sidewalls for solid grip on hard snow.
High-molecular-weight sole.
FIXINGS
Bindings from LOOK , model NX 12 KONECT GW black
Grip Walk compatible
Din from 3 to 12
Accepts ski boots with sole lengths from 255mm to 378mm.
SOLIDITY
Aluminum tip and ABS heel reinforcement.
PREPARATION
Skis waxed and sharpened, ready to use. Edge sharpened to 89°.
COAST LINE
122/68/103 for size 166 / 171 / 176 CM
The rib line corresponds to the width in mm of tip, skate and tail.
The smaller the radius, the shorter the turn
The larger the radius, the longer the turn
3 radii = 3 programs depending on the type of turn
- XTR radius = 12.8 m very short turn
- STR radius = 13.6 m short to long turn
- MTR radius = 14.5 long or high-speed turn
WHAT IS A CAMBER?
When a ski is placed on the ground, the points of contact between the ski and the snow are located near the tip and tail, while the center of the ski (under the bindings) rises slightly. This is camber. The longer and higher the camber, the more grippy and responsive the ski. The lower the camber, the more forgiving and maneuverable the ski.
WHAT IS A ROCKER?
On a rocker ski, the tip and sometimes the tail lift off the ground earlier than on a cambered ski, shifting the contact points towards the center of the ski. The ski's surface in contact with the snow is shortened, offering maneuverability and lift in soft snow. With the angled rocker, you gain edge length for more grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the more maneuverable your ski.
OUR APRÈS-SKI TIPS
After a good day's skiing, here's what you need to do to ensure your skis last a long time:
* Wipe down your edges at the end of the day to prevent rust.
* Use self-adhesive straps between your skis to prevent the soles from rubbing against each other.
* Store your skis in a dry place protected from the sun.
