EXPERIENCE
PUR POWER: "Full speed"
The BOOST 900 from Wedze is a high-performance ski that is still very intuitive to use.
It offers a wide range of radii, thanks to its full-length wood-core construction. The vertical sidewalls increase grip on hard snow, and the slight piste rocker on the tip makes it easier to enter curves.
It also relaunches very well out of curves.
In short, a high-performance ski that remains accessible.
CONSTRUCTION
Woodcore Tec Side wall: vertical edge construction for solid grip on hard snow. The woodcore along the entire length of the ski ensures even deformation in curves, providing the skier with responsiveness, comfort and stability. The slight 3D on the ski heel allows good deformation of the heel, to ensure smooth cornering.
Molecular-weight outsole.
FIXINGS
Tyrolia bindings, model PR 10 GW twin black.
Grip Walk compatible.
Din from 3 to 10.
Accepts ski boots with sole lengths from 261mm to 327mm.
SOLIDITY
Plastic heel toe to prevent damage to the ski when on the ground.
PREPARATION
Skis waxed and sharpened, ready to use. Edge sharpened to 89°.
WHAT IS A CAMBER?
When a ski is placed on the ground, the points of contact between the ski and the snow are located near the tip and tail, while the center of the ski (under the bindings) rises slightly. This is camber. The longer and higher the camber, the more grippy and responsive the ski.
WHAT IS A ROCKER?
On a rocker ski, the tip and sometimes the tail lift off the ground earlier than on a cambered ski, shifting the contact points towards the center of the ski. The ski's surface in contact with the snow is shortened, offering maneuverability and lift in soft snow. With the angled rocker, you gain edge length for more grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the more maneuverable your ski. The shorter the rocker, the grippier your ski.
COAST LINE
124/71/108 in 163cm, radius = 11.8m
OUR APRÈS-SKI TIPS
After a good day's skiing, here's what you need to do to ensure your skis last a long time:
* Wipe down your edges at the end of the day to prevent rust.
* Use self-adhesive straps between your skis to prevent the soles from rubbing against each other.
* Store your skis in a dry place protected from the sun.
