Description:
Grippy, stable and secure on hard snow, it retains good lift when the snow softens, whether in powder or spring snow. The Patrol's shape is directional, making it easy to turn on edge or drift. Its 19-meter radius, neither too long nor too short, allows for a wide variety of turns. The rockers are taut and not too pronounced for good stability.

Construction:
Woodcore Tec is a construction with a wood core (poplar) and vertical edges. The advantage of this construction? It gives the ski excellent bounce, which is particularly pleasant in powder. It gives you a lively ski underfoot in powder without sacrificing grip on the piste.
Tip rubber:
The ski's construction incorporates a rubber insert. The role of this tip insert is to dampen deformations and reduce rocker-related vibrations.

What is a camber?
On a rocker ski, the tip - and sometimes the tail - lifts off the ground much earlier than on a cambered ski. This shifts the contact points towards the center of the ski. This shortens the ski's surface area in contact with the snow, giving you more maneuverability and lift in soft snow. The angle of the rocker gives you more edge length for greater grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the more maneuverable your ski.
What is the dimension line of a ski?
The sidecut is characterized by 3 dimensions: width at the tip (front of the ski), width at the runner (middle of the ski) and width at the tail (back of the ski). The wider the tip, the more easily the ski enters the turn. The narrower the runner, the grippier the ski on hard snow. The wider the runner, the more comfortable and stable the ski is in snow changes. The wider the tail, the more the ski stays anchored in the curve. The thinner the heel, the easier it skids.

If you want to start freeriding, the Rookie will be the ski for you.
If you already do a lot of off-piste skiing, the choice will be between a Patrol and a Slash.
The Patrol is for those who like serious, catchy and versatile skis, while the Slash will be more for those who prefer super-playful skis.
For powder hunters, they'll be happy with a Pow Chaser on their feet.
