Why wear an undershirt?
The undershirt is worn close to the body to retain body heat. In winter, it's your best bet for fighting the cold and getting training off to a good start. They need to fit snugly to prevent air from penetrating. The stretch fabric of the undershirt ensures freedom of movement. The fabric's moisture-wicking properties ensure that your training sessions are moisture-free.
Details of the ML R500 undershirt, what makes it special for rugby?
The undershirt is designed for the demands of rugby. The seams are reinforced to resist pulling and tackling. The main fabric chosen is also adapted. It can stretch but remains resistant to pulls, and won't be damaged by friction during practice. We've also added silicone strips to the sleeves. A little extra for gripping the ball on landings in particular.
