The use of merino wool in the design of this under-jacket guarantees thermal comfort down to 10°C when worn as a 2nd layer.

The wool yarns are sheathed for added strength. It's also breathable and warm. Finally, it's perfectly functional, with 2 hand pockets and a zipped breast pocket.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

How does MT900 wool under-jacket protect against the cold?

Because of its structure, wool easily traps air, which is a great insulator, preventing heat loss. We've also made sure that the high collar protects you completely from the cold. And we've added thumb loops to keep your hands warm.

What is the advantage of the hybrid construction of the MT900 wool under-jacket?

The front panel is lined with lightweight insulation made from fibers held together by a mesh structure. This provides thermal regulation, breathability and wind protection.
The main fabric is made from thick wool (63%) (260 g/m²) to provide just the right level of warmth.
Under the arms, a lightweight component (190 g/m²) promotes breathability.

How do I wash my wool MT900 under-jacket?

We recommend that you machine wash your undershirt at 30°, normal cycle, preferably with a liquid detergent.
Dry flat, NEVER tumble dry unless you want to lose one or two sizes!

TESTS

During the summer of 2020, several people outside Decathlon tested this product. Rémi, for example, used the MT900 merino under-jacket as his only protection against the cold during his Grande Traversée des Alpes along the GR5. He was completely satisfied!
