Inflating & deflating your Stand Up Paddle
INFLATION
This SUP is equipped with a NEW GENERATION valve for even greater safety.
To inflate your SUP, open the cover and connect the pump (IN mode).
Inflate to 17 PSI for optimum glide.
Disconnect the pump and close the outer cover
DEINFLATION
Turn the cover a quarter turn clockwise (OUT mode).
Roll starting from the opposite side of the valve to expel all air and achieve a complete fold
Close the cover.
Fin assembly and disassembly
This surf stand-up paddle has a "SINGLE" type setup. This means it has a single fin (ref: 8576512) installed on the longitudinal axis of the board. With this type of mounting, we've prioritized the MANIABILITY of supsurfing in the wave
NB: Remember to remove the fins when you're not on the water.
Rinse the fin base before and after use if possible.
Carrying bag
BITON fabric bag (see section ''ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT'' for more information)
Height: 90 cm
Width: 35 cm
Thickness: 20 cm
i.e. approx. 63L
These dimensions leave plenty of room for the pump and paddle.
Interior pocket and compression system included.
LEASH
Always wear your leash to stay connected to your boat in the event of a fall. The leash is best attached to the ankle, but can also be worn under the knee.
Remove and rinse the leash after each use.
ATTENTION: do not use leashes in rivers.
Folding the board
Completely evacuate the air from the board
Start folding at the base of the fin, respecting the dotted lines to avoid damaging the base.
Stop halfway and start a second fold from the valve side (wallet fold).
OUR BOARDS ARE REPAIRABLE!
The vast majority of stand-up paddle surfboards are repairable:
For simple repairs, we offer a stand-up paddle repair kit under part no. 8512384.
For more complex repairs, we recommend you contact your local repair shop: valve, handle, fin box... our workshops know how to repair everything to extend the life of your SUP paddle surfboard.
How do I perform a SUP surf take-off?
When a wave arrives, place your 2 feet on the white area in the center of the "dotted line" symmetrically around the handle.
Start rowing without stopping until you feel the wave lifting you.
When you feel the wave pushing you: shift your back foot to the orange area (right foot for REGULARs, left foot for GOOFYs).
To be properly positioned, your back foot should be on the foam arch of the orange area and your front foot in front of the handle.
