Recommended user weight and maximum load
Recommended user weight:
Less than 60 kg: ideal for beginners.
Between 60 and 80 kg: we recommend upgrading to the next size up ( Size M)
More than 80 kg: we recommend a more stable board ( Size L)
Maximum load to stay out of the water: 180 Kg.
Inflating & deflating your Stand Up Paddle
INFLATION:
Check that the orange valve button is in the up (closed) position, by pressing it.
Connect the pump.
Inflate to 15 PSI.
The more the SUP is inflated, the more stable it is and the better the glide.
Disconnect the pump and close the outer cap.
UNINFLATION:
Press firmly on the orange valve button to let the air escape.
Don't put your face in front of the valve and pull away.
To fold, start opposite the valve to expel all the air.
Advice on exposure or storage
Do not expose your board to direct sunlight outside the water.
If your board must remain in the sun, we recommend keeping it away from all sources of heat (facades, floors, car roofs, etc.) and reducing the pressure to 10 PSI to avoid overpressure and irreversible damage (explosions, delamination, leaks, etc.).
Aileron and aileron base
Available from after-sales service and on the Internet in the event of loss or breakage.
SUP fin part number: 8403374
Remember to remove the fin whenever you are not on the water.
Rinse the fin base before and after use if possible.
Start folding at the base of the fin, respecting the dotted lines to avoid damaging the base.
Maintenance key
NEVER UNSCREW THE VALVE WHEN THE SUP IS INFLATED! RISK OF INJURY.
In the event of a leak in the valve, deflate the SUP and, using the supplied wrench, screw in the valve by a quarter turn.
If necessary, the valve can be replaced. Please consult your local Decathlon workshop.
