Compliance with Hawaiian law
The state of Hawaii has decided to ban the use of certain chemicals in sunscreens by passing the Hawaii Law, which came into effect on January 1, 2021.
This law lists chemicals such as oxybenzone and octinoxate that are often found in sunscreens, and which are likely to weaken or even destroy corals.
