This crayfish imitation is particularly suitable for perch and black bass, but can also be used for a wide range of fish, including carp.

The weighting allows the hook to be positioned pointing upwards to avoid obstacles. This imitation is just as effective when placed on the bottom without animation as when brought in between two waters.

A floating, intermediate or plunging line will suit the position. Its weight is designed to make it sink but not at high speed. Up to a depth of 70cm, a floating line will be perfect; beyond this depth, an intermediate or sinking line should be used to reach the target position more quickly. Jerky animation interrupted by pauses with the imitation on the bottom, the highly mobile rabbit fibres will continue to give the illusion of life without losing attractiveness.
